When seeking a new home, some buy what already exists. Others prefer to build their own property to have something that mirrors their personality. With us by your side, you will be able to bring the vision you have to life in the best way possible. For many, it is difficult to hide our technology. Thus, we attempt to integrate it into our decor instead. Finding somewhere to put a television without compromising the decor and furniture can be particularly challenging. Preferably, you should put it somewhere away from high traffic spots. Also, it needs to be at an angle that won't cause sunlight to be an issue. You may need to think about the impact of the architecture too. If you are struggling with the placement of a TV, we have some tips to share.

Spacing

Firstly, you should prioritise spacing. It is best to keep the television at eye level. This way, when people are sitting they won't strain their eyes or neck by looking down or up to see the screen. Normally, about 4 feet off the ground is suitable. Afterwards, multiply the screen's diagonal width by three to find out the ideal viewing distance.

A focal point

If you have your TV as the focal point, put it in the centre of the seating area. Should you have another point to focus on, like a lovely window or mantel, think about putting the TV on the wall adjacent to it. By doing that, people can view it comfortably. If you don't want the TV as a focal point, think about placing it in an armoire or cabinet. You can also do this if you want to conceal it at a moment's notice. Ensure there are holes in the back for your cords to go through. If you have kids that will be using it, see to it that the cabinet is easily openable.

Integration

Our final tip is to integrate your TV into your decor by putting it on an unit like a bookcase. Surround it with books, photos, and objects. For further integration, surround it with a gallery wall of art in black frames or photography.
