When it comes to British architecture, RIBA are at the forefront. The Royal Institute of British Architects has been in existence since 1834, with Royal Charter status since 1837. For almost two centuries, RIBA has been concerned with ensuring that British architecture continues to march forward, maintaining the very highest standards. As such, RIBA members and RIBA chartered practices are recognised as some of the most talented architects not just in Britain, but in the world.RIBA and its associated members and practices are united under several common goals. These include enhancing and promoting architecture as a profession facing significant challenges, championing good architectural design across the world, and influencing UK government policies and legislation that impacts architecture as a profession. In return for adhering to these goals, they receive the benefit of being associated with one of the world's foremost architectural associations.By becoming a RIBA chartered practice, we agreed to follow a set of rules and principles. We operate a stringent quality management system and Health and Safety Policy. We have appropriate professional indemnity insurance policy and operate under an environmental management policy. We have a continuing professional development framework in place and our employment policy addresses the principles of the RIBA policy statement. RIBA chartered practices must also pay statutory minimum wage to architecture students in their practice.We are proud to be a RIBA chartered architect working on both commercial and residential architecture in London and throughout the world.
