Premium apartments at the award winning Television Centre

We are a team of highly skilled and seasoned architects that have worked on a large variety of projects. This includes a decent number of mixed-use structures in addition to others. People also consider us the best in the business when it comes to residential architecture London has.Recently, the Television Centre in White City won a RIBA award. This was a project we were proud to work on. Our contribution to the project was to create a set of four premium apartments. This was one element of a wider masterplan by developer Stanhope. The AHMM-guided enterprise reconceptualised the Television Centre. The idea was to make it into a mixed-use piece of the city that the public would love. The design celebrates the building's legacy, iconography, and architecture.

Penthouses

Our flats are a component of the "Architects Series". They are bespoke, premium penthouses offering excellent views. The designs celebrate the distinct characteristics of the current architecture. For example, there are subtle curves to the walls of the apartments. In addition, there is the matching radial brass trims inset in the terrazzo floor. This all relates to the TVC Helios' centre. There are brass perforated screens designed to filter sunlight too. They create active shadows that enliven the homes.

A design propelled by a notion

The design also took inspiration from a very specific notion. This is of the redrawn radii to fortify the special circular plan form of the first Television Centre. The brass trim in the flooring and the apartments' interior walls create concentric rings. At the centre is the Helios statue. At Coffey Architects, we keep the needs of our clients in mind while we work on their projects. This means that there is no point where we lose sight of their goals and our own. As a result, we can create designs that truly tick all of the right boxes. If you would like help from the top company working in residential architecture London has, please contact us.
