Celebrating Zaha Hadid's ideas for a beautiful Miami skyscraper

One Thousand Museum in downtown Miami is just one of the projects by Zaha Hadid that is currently under construction around the world. The skyscraper will reach sixty-two storeys when it is finished, creating new homes, restaurants, event spaces, car parking, and a swimming pool. The building is taking shape, with the project expected to be completed in 2018.In May some beautiful images of what the interior will look like in parts of the property were released. The ideas for the communal spaces are particularly stunning and several bear hallmarks of Zaha Hadid's famous style. There are angular walls, curved surfaces, and an array stunning features that will please inhabitants and visitors alike.The majority of the property is new homes, with a wide mix of options to choose from. Levels ten to fourteen will be home to townhouses. Above this will be thirty-four storeys of half floor apartments. Eight levels of full floor penthouses with incredible views will top these. On levels fifty-eight and fifty-nine there will be a large duplex.The very top of the building will be home to an aquatics centre, a sky lounge and the pool. Images for this show a specially designed metallic wall sculpture. This will reflect the water to create a stunning, visually appealing feature.Each home will feature an outdoor room in the form of a balcony. These will differ slightly due to the shape of the building and the exoskeleton covering it. The feature will add value both for its aesthetics and the fact that it will give the owner a piece of outdoor space to use.The aforementioned exoskeleton of the building serves a very important purpose. It helps to support the floors so that minimal columns can be used. This leaves more usable space for the property owners. It is a fantastic idea.The building deserves praise for the unique ideas it has for residential architecture.
